Yesterday, Kanye West announced that the release of Yahndi would be delayed indefinitely. Or at least until he feels the album, his 10th, is ready for the masses. It was his performance as Kids See Ghosts at last weekend’s Camp Flog Gnaw that prompted him to push back the release. “After performing again,” Ye tweeted, “I realise the new album I’ve been working on isn’t ready yet. I’ll announce the release date once it’s done.”
It felt so good being on the stage last night with my brother Cudi. After performing again, I realize the new album I’ve been working on isn’t ready yet. I’ll announce the release date once it’s done. Thank you for understanding.

This is the second time Yeezy has pushed back the drop date. The LP was initially slated to release September 29th, the same weekend that Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V dropped. When Yhandi didn’t come, it was Kim Kardashian who updated fans on the new date: November 23rd. Kanye was taking the album to Africa to finish it. Stay tuned for the new, new date.
